Mississippi Annual Crawfish Hunt This is a group of old friends that meet annually for a Friday night dinner in Vicksburg, MS, a Saturday day ride, and then split for home on Sunday morning. I've been riding with some of the folks for years, it's a rather laid back group but a few tops do get popped AFTER the bikes are parked. The website and all details are here. http://www.orgsites.com/mo/mach/ This is an open event but you'll need to RSVP on the website so we can figure out the number of people attending the Friday night dinner. Present plans are KSU on Friday, May 7 at 07:00 from Dixie Cafe parking lot in Hearne, TX. Ride US-79 to I-20 and proceed on I-20 to Vicksburg. This is about a 400 mile ride, one way, usually about 7 1/2 hours plus gas stops. The ride map is here. MACH Ride Map If enough people are interested in leaving on Thursday to tour the Vicksburg Battleground or ride a bit of the Natchez Trace on Friday before the evening dinner we can discuss that also. If you plan to attend I'll also add your name to the website for this event as an attendance is needed for the reservation at the restaurant for the Friday night dinner.
